Account Coordinators at Slingshot work with the Account Management team and are essentially Account Executives “in training”. The Account Coordinator is expected to provide client service support to ensure that all assignments are executed timely and accurately. They will assist in the daily operations of client projects internally. We are looking for a curious and passionate person who seeks to learn the ins and outs of the agency and overall account management while managing ongoing project responsibilities.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Learn and adhere to the Agency process
  • Manage budgets and develop a comprehensive understanding of financials
  • Develop and manage all billing documentation (estimates, invoices, POs, etc.)
  • Participate in internal meetings and proactively ask questions to ensure understanding
  • Remain knowledgeable and articulate about account management projects
  • Keep account team informed of key business and category news and draw relevant insights and implications
  • Accept assignments readily and accept responsibility for all areas of his/her job
  • Assist the team in other areas as necessary

Position Specific Skills and Requirements:

Prior Experience:

  • 1-2 internships in advertising, marketing, or a related field and/or an entry-level role in Account Management
  • Undergraduate degree in Advertising or Marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and extracurricular involvement a plus
